These words came alive for me following Vatican II. Christ left the entire creation in our keeping. Unless we follow Christ's example we cannot hope to build a better world. Would have been about the time Amy and Jaime were born. Though the encyclical. Mystical Body of Christ was known many years prior.

Perhaps we need spend less time worshipping Jesus,
which He never wanted,
and start Emulating Jesus
for which he pleads
despite the mandate of the Hierarchy

I thought it interesting that Ian Stewart, Chris & Patty's son, was a single response I received on this piece when sent out as an email. This is a legitimate question. What did we do? The environment and its preservation has been a primary issue in Bruce and my life. We respect life, all of God's Creation. We choose to live moderately.
